Frequently Asked Questions

Do you service my area?

Hopefully.  We serve most of Collin County, including Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Allen, Murphy, Wylie, Sachse, Fairview, Lucas, Parker, and The Colony. We also serve portions of Richardson and Garland.

You can confirm we serve your area by visiting our Service Area page.

We make pricing simple and transparent. Most lawn and pest control programs are priced based on the square footage of your property.

For most services, you’ll receive your exact price upfront — no hidden fees, no bait-and-switch.

A few services are priced per hour, as we have found over the last 20 years that this approach is the most cost-effective for our customers.  For example, leaf cleanups and bush trimming.  We can provide an estimate up front, and we can agree not to exceed a specific amount of time.

Please call, text, or email us for pricing tailored to your specific needs and property.

We don’t price-match because most companies aren’t built like CitiTurf.

We estimate 95% of our competitors don’t invest in what it takes to deliver the level of quality and service we provide.

We hire full-time team members, pay them well, provide health insurance and 401(k) benefits so we can keep great people long-term.

We carry general liability and workers’ compensation insurance to protect you and your property.

We invest heavily in training, safety, and equipment so every visit is consistent and done right.

We also maintain a large office team to answer your calls live and respond to your text messages and emails fast.

And if there’s ever an issue or question, we have dedicated field team members who can come out quickly to see you in person.

You can find a cheaper company — but we’ve learned there’s always a reason why.

Yes — you can cancel anytime.

We don’t believe in contracts, cancellation fees, or fine print.

You will only stay with us if you are thrilled with our service.

That’s covered under the CitiTurf Promise:

We do the job right. If something’s off, we’ll fix it quickly or you don’t pay.

Our goal is to make working with us as simple and easy as possible.

In most cases, we can begin service this week or next, depending on the service.

Seasonal demand can impact scheduling.  We will always communicate clearly and work to get you started as quickly as possible.

Are your products safe for kids and pets?

Yes. All of the products we use are EPA-approved and applied by licensed professionals who follow state and federal safety regulations.

We’re cautious about what we use. We never rush to adopt new products until we feel there has been plenty of real-world testing and proof they’re safe for your family and pets.

We also apply treatments responsibly — never overapplying, and always keeping a safe distance from toys, pet bowls, toothbrushes, and high-traffic areas inside the home.

We use the same products and services in our own homes.

The only service you need to be home for is in-home Pest Control treatments.

For all other visits, our technicians perform the service and leave a yellow door hanger summarizing what was done and if any action is required.

Where needed, you will also receive updates by text or email.

We keep billing simple. Your card is charged automatically the week after service is completed — never before.

You’ll receive an email invoice for all services performed.

We only charge for the work you approved, at the price you agreed to.

We specialize in ongoing care as consistent treatments are the only way to achieve and maintain the healthy, weed-free lawn, pest-free home, and healthy, fast-growing trees our customers expect.

However, we do offer irrigation/sprinkler repair as a one-time service.

For privacy reasons, we can’t share our customers’ addresses.

We serve nearly 12,000 homes across Collin County.

With well over 100 bright yellow trucks on the road every day, just watch for which homes they are parked in front of.
